Purpose of the event
In recent years, museums in Bulgaria have entered new areas of digitisation without strategic or infrastructural support, leading to significant diversity in practices, approaches, and the quality of work. This event aims to lay the foundations for a coordinated and strategic approach in two of the relatively new areas - 3D digitisation and documentation of cultural heritage with digital technologies in Bulgarian museums. The focus is on sustainable technological solutions, data management, legal clarity and integration of 3D content into institutional policies and practices.
